In 2004, during the Emergences Festival, Dédale was initiating an artistic twinning with the Nuits de l’Ososphère at the Laiterie in Strasbourg.

This complicity is continuing this year with the programming of digital experimentations, live retransmissions and the creation of Point Radio, the temporary web radio created for the occasion and which draw its content from this double programming.

Creating a temporary radio common to both events and supplied live from the various geographical spots of each festival. The thematic radio programme is to be broadcast live in Paris and Strasbourg during the two festivals and will be available online in audio streaming. The programme wishes to follow the editorial directions of the events. It is to:

• present events to the public before they actually take place
• accompany their broadcasting on the spot of each event
• follow the time over which the events will take place in the city

This programme project has been specifically thought in relation to the events, their stakes, and the structures setting them up. It is both a radiophonic creation over the event and a specific media that enables pinpointing its intents, its context and its subject matter.

This year, the twin festivals are widening their field and are experimenting a new partnership with Arborescence in Aix-en-Provence.

Somewhere between Paris, Strasbourg and Aix-en-Provence, Emergences surpasses its frontiers and creates artistic boundaries with the Nuits Electroniques de l’Ososhpère (La Laiterie/Strasbourg), and the Arborescence festival (Aix-en-Provence).
