Emergences is a manifestation produced and suggested by the assocation Dedale.
Dedale is a French research and production agency devoted to relationships between arts, culture and new technologies. Its field of intervention concerns all artistic disciplines (visual arts, arts, music, street entertainments, circus, puppets, architecture, design), mostly in a logic of crossing and hybridization. Dedale is particularly interested in emergent artistic practices and in new forms of artistic mediation.
Dedale's activities build upon :
-Emergences festival, an international digital art festival in Paris,
-a Media Lab, an artistic residency exchange program (D-Lab),
-an European media arts Observatory.
In this framework, Dedale develops an activity of assistance and consulting for cultural networks and public authorities (digitisation and valorisation of the cultural heritage, new tools and new learning environments, new artistic practices and new habits, emerging art forms and new cultural venues).
Artistic workshops at the Cité Internationale Universitaire de Paris and the SmartCity conference are organised in co-production with CitéCulture / Cité Internationale Universitaire de Paris.
CitéCulture is the Cité Internationale Universitaire de Paris' cultural centre. It plays a part specially in visual arts, music and architecture fields.
The Cité Internationale Universitaire de Paris is a recognized private foundation of public utility, whom goal goal was to promote peace, exchanges and friendship among peoples after the trauma of the first World War and to support the university and cultural France influence in the world. It has been one of the rare institutions entirely dedicated to the reception of high-level mobile students, researchers and artists, at the service of cultural exchange and dialogue.

The Cité internationale is a unique site today: this landscaped park where nearly four hundred plants flourish is a true exhibition of twentieth-century architecture. 5,600 residents are housed in the Cité and more than 12,000 visitors come daily to the Cité and its private park, open to the public.
SmartCity conference is organized in partnership with the France's Next-Generation Internet Foundation (FING).
Founded by 3 leading Internet associations, including the Internet Society, FING is a collective and open Research and Development project which focuses on tomorrow's Internet's uses, applications and services.
FING intends to help corporations, public agencies, education and research organizations be at the forefront of this new cycle. Through collective and networked intelligence, creativity and experimentation, Fing seeks to improve the efficiency of the innovation process, as well as reduce risks for all involved parties.
